Description: On August 24th, 2017 the Windham County Sheriff's Office arrested Jeffrey S. Bacon, 47, of Cambridgeport Vermont for violation of conditions of release, violation of an abuse prevention order, and providing false information to a law enforcement officer.

Deputies stopped a vehicle for a motor vehicle infraction on Westminster Rd in the Town of Putney. It was found that the operator of the vehicle had an abuse prevention order in effect against the passenger, Bacon. Bacon initially tried to mislead the investigating Deputy by giving a false name and date of birth however another Deputy who arrived on scene was able to identify Bacon by seeing him.

It was discovered that Bacon had been arrested one day prior for a violation of an abuse prevention order and that conditions of release had been set in the previous case. Bacon was found to be in violation said conditions of release.

Bacon was arrested and transported to the Windham County Sheriff's Office for processing. At the completion of processing Bacon was ordered held on $500 cash or surety bond until he appears in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division.
