3) Negligent Operation of a motor vehicle
Description: On March 21st, 2025 at approximately 1715 hours a deputy observed a Ford Escape traveling 60 miles per hour in a posted 35 mile per hour area.
A traffic stop was conducted on West Road. The operator was identified as Matthew Struthers Age 40 of Brattleboro Vermont. While speaking with the operator the deputy observed several signs of impairment. The operator was subsequently screened for DUI and placed under arrest for Driving under the influence. Struthers was then transported to the Windham County Sheriff's Office for processing.
Struthers was then issued a Vermont Criminal Citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.
