Description: On April 2nd, 2025 a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Route 142 in the Town of Vernon. both the operator and passenger identified as Daniela Arriaga age 23 and Xavier Horne Age 19 were placed under arrest after a consent search of the vehicle and their person's resulted in the recovery of a felony amount of fentanyl and a misdemeanor amount of cocaine.

In total deputies recovered 180 bags of fentanyl that was concealed on Horne's body. Both Horne and Arriaga were transported to the Windham County Sheriff's Office for processing. Horne and Arriaga were then transported to Southern State Correctional Facility where they were held without bail from unrelated charges.
