Description: On April 6th, 2025, at approximately 0048 hours, a deputy with the Windham County Sheriff's Office assigned to a highway safety detail, stopped a vehicle on I91 in the Town of Brattleboro for a speeding violation. As a result of an investigation, the operator Jospeh Steele, was found to be impaired by alcohol rendering him unsafe to operate a motor vehicle. Steele was arrested and transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, Steele was released on a criminal citation to appear in court at a later date.
