Description: On April 21, 2026 at approximately 13:42 hours, the Windham County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a single car motor vehicle collision on Back Westminster Road located in the town of Westminster. Upon arrival Deputies identified the operator as 26 year old Teresa Bratton of Bellows Falls, VT. Subsequent investigation revealed Bratton's privilege to operate a motor vehicle in the state of Vermont had been suspended at the beginning of April. The suspension stemmed from a DUI making the suspension criminal in nature. After refusing medical transport, Bratton was placed under arrest and transported to the Windham County Sheriff's Office for processing. Bratton was issued a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date and was then released to herself. No one was injured as a result of the collision.
