DUI arrest-Westminster

Charges: DUI, Negligent Operation
Description: On May 7th, 2026, at approximately 2237 hours, Deputies, along with fire and ems responded to a reported motor vehicle crash on Hartley Hill Rd. in the Town of Westminster. The operator, Daniel Truesdell, was unable to maintain control of his vehicle and exited the roadway into a tree. Truesdell was flown to a hospital due to his significant injuries sustained as a result of the crash.
Subsequent investigation revealed that Truesdell operated his motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Thus, rendering him unable to operator a motor vehicle safely. An arrest warrant was sought and ordered by the court. Truesdell surrendered to Deputies on 9/29/26 and was taken into custody at the Windham County Sheriff's Office. Truesdell was transported to the court soon after processing.
