Windham County Sheriff’s Office – Now Hiring Level III Deputy (Per Diem) The Windham County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for a Level III Deputy (per diem) position. Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include community events, construction zone safety, DUI interdiction, occupant protection enforcement, patrol and motor vehicle enforcement, prisoner transports, security details, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Applicants must be community-oriented and self-motivated. Prior training or experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and polygraph, meet physical fitness standards at the 40th percentile, and be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time.
