Description: On 03/19/25 at approximately 1230 hours, Maximillian K. Scotti was arrested by the Windham County Sheriff's Office after his vehicle was stopped for a speeding violation on VT Route 9 near the Marlboro School. During the stop it was discovered that Maximillian was currently under criminal suspension for a prior DUI. Maximillian was released from the scene on a citation to appear in the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date. He was also issued a traffic ticket for the civil speeding violation.

Description: Over the course of the last several months, a Detective with the Windham County Sheriff's Office investigated the report of a sexual assault that occurred at a motel on Landing Rd. in the Town of Putney. Investigation revealed that Patrick Noone, of East Falmouth, MA committed the crime of Sexual Assault.
On March 18th, 2025, Noone surrendered to deputies at the Windham County Sheriff's Office. A judge ordered Noone be held on $5,000 cash or surety bond and to be arraigned the same day. Noone was transported to the Superior Court of Vermont-Criminal Division-Windham Unit and turned over soon after.

Description: On November 27, 2024, an investigation was conducted by a deputy with the Windham County Sheriff's Office regarding the death of a dog in Putney, VT. Investigation revealed that Michael Kirkpatrick shot and killed a neighbor's dog and removed the identification of the dog. Furthermore, while discharging the firearm, Kirkpatrick did so in a reckless manner. Kirkpatrick was arrested and charged with the aforementioned crimes. He was released with a criminal citation to appear at a later date.

Description: On March 13th, 2025, at approximately 1753 hours, a deputy with the Windham County Sheriff's Office observed a vehicle traveling south on US Rt. 5 in excess of the posted speed limit in the Town of Westminster. The vehicle in question was stopped and found to be operated by Spencer M. Dunn, of Dublin, NH.
Investigation revealed that Dunn was impaired by alcohol rendering him unsafe to operate a motor vehicle. Dunn was arrested and processed at the Bellows Falls Police Department. Upon the completion, Dunn was issued a criminal citation to appear at a later date for the charge of DUI. Dunn was also issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint for his speed violation.
An officer with the Bellows Falls Police Department assisted the deputy on this case.

Description: On March 13th, 2025, a deputy was operating stationary radar on Pond Road in the Town of Vernon when he observed a vehicle accelerate and begin passing another vehicle traveling south, ultimately reaching speeds of 80 miles per hour in a posted 35 mile an hour area.
A traffic stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Greggory Larose age 54 of Brattleboro, VT. Larose was subsequently placed under arrest. Larose's driving privilege in the State of Vermont was found to be under suspension criminally as well.
Larose was transported to the Windham County Sheriff's Office for processing. He was then released on a criminal citation to appear at a later date.
