Description: On February 8th, 2025, at approximately 1930 hours, deputies with the Windham County Sheriff's Office went to a residence on Shag Bark Hill in Putney, VT. There, they located Roger Colby of Claremont, NH. Colby was found to have an active arrest warrant for failing to appear in court regarding drug related offenses. Colby was arrested by deputies and transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility where he was lodged.

The operator, Adam Florence of Brattleboro was found to be operating this vehicle after his license was criminally suspended. Florence was arrested and processed at the Windham County Sheriff's Office and later released on a criminal citation.

Subsequent investigation revealed the operator identified as Britney Hescock age 30 of Putney Vermont was Criminally suspended in the State of Vermont. Hescock was then issued a Criminal citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.

Description: On January 17th, 2025 at approximately 1850 hours Deputies with the Windham County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in Westminster, Vermont for a reported disturbance. Subsequent investigation revealed Shirley Sprague Age 76 committed the crimes of Domestic Assault, Cruelty to a Child, and had violated her Conditions of Release.

Sprague was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Windham County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Sprague was then issued a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.
